Sahara Chili

2005 Terlingua International Chili ChampionIngredients
- 2 lbs Course Ground Beef (1st step)
- 1 tbsp Cooking Oil (1st step)
- 1 tbsp Onion, granulated (1st step)
- 1 8 oz can Tomato Sauce (2nd step)
- 1 can Beef Broth (2nd step)
- 3 tsp Mexene Chili Powder (3rd step)
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder (3rd step)
- 1/2 tsp Salt (3rd step)
- 1/2 tbsp Ground Cumin (3rd step)
- 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper (3rd step)
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper (3rd step)
- 1 tsp Chicken Granules, or 1 cube (3rd step)
- 2 tbsp Mexene Chili Powder ( 4th step)
- 1 tsp Paprika (4th step)
- 1/2 tbsp Ground Cumin (4th step)
- 1 cup Water ,as needed
Directions
- Add all ingredients from (1st step) together and lightly brown meat.
- Add all ingredients from (2nd step) together with (1st step) and cook for 30 minutes.
- Add all ingredients from (3rd step) and cook for 1hour.
- Add all ingredients from (4th step) leave covered and simmer for 30 minutes.
Preptime: 20 minutes
Cook time: 2 hours-15 minutes
