Venison Muriel

Ingredients

  • 3 slices  Chopped bacon
  • 3/4 lb  ground Venison
  • 1/2 cup  Chopped Onion
  • 1 tsp  Mexene Chili Powder
  • 3/4 tsp  salt
  • 1/2 tsp  Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp  Pepper
  • 1 16 oz  Can stewed tomatoes undrained
  • 1 1/2 cup  Cooked rice

Directions

  1. Fry chopped bacon in large skillet until crisp; add ground venison. chopped onion, mexene,salt, paprika, and pepper to skillet.
  2. Cook over medium heat until meat is browned, stirring to crumble.
  3. Add tomatoes to skillet; cover, reduce heat and simmer 40 minutes.
  4. Serve over rice.
Yield: 4 Servings
Preptime: 15 minutes
